Supreme Court's stand on Article 377 is just

Two different benches of judiciary have their views polarized on article 377. Whereas High Court of Delhi gave its verdict against it in 2009, Supreme Court stands in favor, thus sparking the 12 years old row once again. There is a huge hue and cry from the gays, lesbians and liberals against Supreme Court’s verdict. The verdict is termed as an attack on personal liberty and freedom of expression.

However, Nature does not act on the arguments. A male and female are made to complement each other physically and emotionally. Their union resulted in continuation of life. This law of Nature doesn’t restrict to the humans only but it also encompasses other livings like plants and animals. The very idea of same sex marriage is not only against the Nature but also against the core values of the society to the level as fundamental as a family. The challenge is, how to educate the children about the love and marriage between man and man or woman and woman, how they will have children, who will be father and who will be mother and why, how their child (?) will thrive in the society without any trauma of these questions later in his/her life.

We have to accept that same sex is neither Natural nor contemporary, no matter what argument is given in favor. As western countries are decriminalizing and legalizing it, our ultra contemporary section also wanted the same to be done in India. The meaning of liberty and freedom of expression is not to accept anything and everything originating from the west. The idea of legalizing same sex union in India has to be rejected.

Homosexuality is neither Natural nor contemporary
