Stress kills - Quiet literally

Stress kills. Quiet literally. Death of a women CRPF personal on her duty proved this. Primarily it seems that she died out of exhaustion from work load. Due to daily 12 working hours she developed chronic high blood pressure, which eventually took her life.

CRPF is very instrumental in ensuring the safe journey for railways commuters. Since its inception, the safety level of railways has increased. But due to the shortage of the staff the work load on CRPF has increased. They have been working under the same condition for long but to attract the attention towards their misery the death of the women constable is sad event.

The working condition of not only the CRPF but all of the departments that are involved in the security of the citizens should be improved. They should be made physically and mentally fit and happy as they have to face grim conditions.

  1. They should be confide with ample staff.
  2. Time to time stress busting sessions should be held.
  3. A platform should be made available where they can share their experience and grievance.
  4. They should be provided with latest gadgetry and technology to attend their work.
