A new chapter in child education

School dropout ratio is a big hurdle in the mission of primary education in India. A combination of government organizations and NGOs could be the answer to this ever failing ratio.

There are many NGOs who have the expertise and experiences to carry out the job. But due to the scarcity of funds and proper infrastructure they are not able to make a mark. The government schools on the other hand are well in place as they are funded directly from the state exchequer.

Now if the government allows these infrastructures to be used by the NGOs, when the schooling from the government side is done for e.g. in the evenings, then it can help the cause. NGOs can use well their expertise and experience as well as infrastructure and facilities of the government schools to stem the fall in ratio of the school dropouts. Perhaps the combination and sharing of expertise and forte of each other could start the new chapter in the child education.
